Pharmacists Are Turning to Private Services to Recoup Lost NHS Revenue

A new survey published by Medicspot and supported by the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) shows pharmacists are looking towards private services as concerns over the government’s new pharmacy contract grow.

With the Medicines Use Review (MUR) service set to be decommissioned at the end of the 2020/21 financial year, the majority of pharmacists (61%) do not believe additional commissioned services will make up for the lost revenue.
